Owners, Laura and Turkay Akgoz and the team have been in the hospitality industry since 1991 when they opened their first restaurant on the Mediterranean coast in the beautiful bay of Marmaris, Turkey. Upon returning to Australia in 2001 they established TLA Catering and took over the management of City Park Café. Since then, they have opened Florence Café in the CBD. Bringing the cafe to life through their passion for serving the community and showcasing the best of what Tasmania has to offer.
